Based on industrial design, the international industrial research department integrates the practices and researches of various design disciplines, to provide support in driving design, converting results and cultivating talents for the future development of the Academy.

With the support from AADTHU and Qingdao, the Fashion Art Research Department, by starting from the research and design of fashion art, brings together outstanding contemporary Chinese artists and designers, maximizes the use of art and design resources, and strives for cross-disciplinary research and project cooperation of art and design, so as to realize the idea of "art changes life by integrating into it".

With the promotion of China's habitant environment science as its overarching goal, the habitant environment design research department mainly for the new form of urbanization in Qingdao and even in China at large, and devotes itself to the combination of scientific research with social service.

Based on information art design and complying with the development needs of social economy and cultural industry, the information design research department of Information represents a new art development platform that combines art with information technology, with its research scope covering design, art, culture and other frontier domains.

Based on the fine arts and design disciplines, the design and research center of public art takes the research on social public culture construction as a breakthrough point to carry out multi-disciplinary and multi-field comprehensive researches.

Centering on the fusion and innovation of arts and science, we introduce academicians and experts at home and abroad, draw on the innovation strengths and experience in developing major projects and overcoming main challenges, perform technical exchange and cooperation，so as to build an ecosystem of academician economy in a real sense.
