The First High-End Forum on Building a Digital Ecosystem Co-Creation Platform Successfully Held in Beijing

On August 10, 2024, the first High-End Forum on Building a Digital Ecosystem Co-Creation Platform was successfully held at Tsinghua Tongfang Science and Technology Plaza in Beijing. The forum implemented the Digital China strategy, actively responded to the requirements of the Opinions on Promoting the Implementation of the National Cultural Digitalization Strategy jointly issued by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council, and carried out academic discussions and exchanges focusing on the theme of "Metaverse, Large Model, and Digital Co-Creation Enable the Development of New Quality Productive Forces", aiming to support the establishment of a digital ecosystem co-creation platform, and explore new modes and paths for scientific and technological innovation in promoting economic development.

Mr. WANG Shaolan Presided over the Forum

This forum was co-organized by the TASA and Xunfeng Technology (Guizhou) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xunfeng Technology), with the assistance of Beijing Tsinghua Industrial R&D Institute, Art & Science Research Center, Tsinghua University, CR Digital, Zhipu AI, and Tongfang Technology Innovation Co., Ltd. Over 100 experts, scholars, teachers, and students participated in this event. Mr. WANG Shaolan, President of Zhipu AI, presided over the forum.

Dean MA Sai Delivered a Speech

In his opening speech at the forum, Professor MA Sai, Dean of the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University and President of the TASA, extended his congratulations on the successful holding the first High-End Forum on Building a Digital Ecosystem Co-Creation Platform at first, and then expressed his gratitude to the attending scholars and experts for their strong support, and to students in the Doctoral Program for Innovation Leadership Engineering of Tsinghua University for their active participation. He introduced the layout and exploration of the AADTHU in the construction of digital ecosystem and the integration of art and science in the cultural field for a long time. He stated that the cooperation between the TASA and Xunfeng Technology complements each other's advantages, and in the future, will guide teachers and students to build new digital scenes with creative works, provide more digital collections, actively explore the construction of digital ecological platforms, and complete achievement transformation through the integration of digital technologies and real economy, to create a better digital life. He also hoped that this forum would further the cross integration of different fields and disciplines, and provide better guidance for the future development of the digital ecosystem.

Professor YANG Yongheng Delivered a Keynote Speech

Professor YANG Yongheng, Vice President of the China Institute for Development Planning ,Tsinghua University, made a report on the theme of "Overall Layout Plan for Digital China Construction". He systematically explained the development process and challenges of digital China construction, as well as new deployment and requirements put forward by the 20th National Congress of the CPC for digital China construction. He also provided a detailed interpretation of the Overall Layout Plan for Digital China Construction.

Professor LI Juanzi Delivered a Keynote Speech

Professor LI Juanzi, Director of the Knowledge Intelligence Research Center of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Tsinghua University, made a report on the theme of "Large-Scale AI Model and Its Development". She introduced the methodology of artificial intelligence development, and summarized the key capabilities of large models in parameterized knowledge, content generation, natural language interaction, and multi-task scenario processing. She also put forward that the deep integration of artificial intelligence and application scenarios is the key to new quality productive force.

Professor WANG Jiansong Delivered a Keynote Speech

Professor WANG Jiansong, Vice President of the TASA, made a report on the theme of "Digital Co-Creation and Cultural Inheritance". He emphatically introduced the TASA's innovative practices in promoting the IP transformation of traditional culture through digital art from the artistic and scientific innovation development platform, as well as the traditional culture and digital system development. Taking the West Journey to Silk Road Information Space Cultural Corridor Project as an example, he vividly introduced the innovative model that links the stories of the Journey to the West with the "Belt and Road" to build cultural tourism featuring tourism paths, and that combines traditional cultural stories with modern cultural tourism scenes through digital transformation to promote the development of cultural tourism along the Belt and Road and supporting industries.

Mr. DONG Kunlei Delivered a Keynote Speech

Mr. DONG Kunlei, Chairman of CR Digital, made a report on the theme of "Focusing on Digital Ecosystem and Accelerating Open Innovation". He introduced the innovative practices of CR Digital in digital ecosystem construction from the development overview of digital ecosystem under multi-dimensional driving forces, the practical exploration of China Resources in digital ecosystem construction, the challenges faced by high-level digital ecosystem, and the construction of a new pattern of open and shared digital ecosystem. He pointed out that with the continuous deepening of the chain chief system model and the continued strong policy supply for small and medium-sized enterprises by the state, the trend of high-level, high-quality, and high-reliability digital ecosystem construction will continue.

Mr. CHANG Xiaolei Delivered a Keynote Speech

Mr. CHANG Xiaolei, Vice President of Beijing Tsinghua Industrial R&D Institute, made a report on the theme of "Scientific and Technological Industry Co-Creation". He mainly introduced the construction of a scientific and technological innovation system of the Beijing Tsinghua Industrial R&D Institute, and also shared the model and experience of industrial ecosystem co-creation taking the life and health field as an example.

Mr. YIN Cheng Delivered a Keynote Speech

Mr. YIN Cheng, General Manager of Xunfeng Technology, delivered a keynote speech on the theme of "Our Co-Creation". He explained that Xunfeng Technology has devoted itself to digital co-creation based on people's endless emotional needs. He also introduced Xunfeng Technology's three projects, namely the "Bi'an", "Liaoyuan" and "Wujing", and the development and application of related cutting-edge technologies. He noted that Xunfeng Technology would strive to provide a larger co-creation platform that involves hundreds of millions of users in building the platform as a whole, inspiring, activating, and motivating the aspirations of everyone for a better life.

Professor WANG Jiansong and General Manager YIN Cheng Completed the Unveiling Ceremony for the Zijing Xunfeng Co-Creation Center

During the forum, the "Zijing Xunfeng Cultural Digital Co-Creation Center" was unveiled by Professor WANG Jiansong, Vice President of the TASA, and Mr. YIN Cheng, General Manager of Xunfeng Technology. The center will carry out diversified cooperation on digital innovation of traditional culture and intangible cultural heritage, digital collection design, commercial development and application of artistic creation. By empowering industrial transformation with art and design, it will drive a virtuous cycle of technological innovation, talent training and industrial upgrading, and enable excellent cultural concepts, aesthetic research, and artistic achievements to better meet the spiritual, material and cultural needs of the society for a better life.
