WANG Jiansong, Executive Vice President of TASA, underscored the cultural foundation of the habitat industry in his speech and called on attendees to think deeply about the possibilities of future habitat development. He put forward the five core factors of time, space, system, dimension, and ecology in light of the impact of the current exhibition economy and prevailing concepts on habitat culture and industry. He emphasized the necessity of respecting cultural history and avoiding blindly following superficial trends in terms of original design. For design exhibitions, it's crucial to explore more diverse and open forms of expression that align with the evolving urban space. In the habitat industry, establishing a systematic framework, breaking down industry barriers, and achieving synergetic development across the supply chain are all essential steps. Additionally, a deeper understanding through social education and seeking solutions beyond design is vital for advancing habitat culture. Finally, he emphasized that the habitat culture industry must gain a thorough understanding of the macro-economy and policies and establish a comprehensive concept of cultural ecology. He also emphasized that practitioners in the design industry should keep in step with other industries within habitat life and develop a tertiary industry alliance thinking dominated by the concept of life service.

WANG Jiansong also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Guangzhou Design Week on behalf of TASA Habitat Culture and Industry Development Alliance. The two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation across the fields of art and design, cultural exhibitions and performances, scientific and technological innovation and academic exchanges, jointly promoting the prosperity of creative industries and deepening the integration of art and science.

As the chief curator of the BKA Trend Exhibition Hall, where this forum is held, Mr. SHAO Wei-yen, Founder of CHU-studio and Doctor of Philosophy in Architecture from National Chiao Tung University, echoed WANG Jiansong's reflections in his speech. He explored how design can support the human habitat industry in interacting, correlating, and leading the market, consumer dynamics, and life trends.

As an extension of the TASA Habitat Forum, the award ceremony invited experts and industry insiders to give speeches. Among them, Professor SONG Limin from the Department of Environmental Art Design, Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University delivered a keynote speech on 70 Years of Evolution of New Chinese Interior Design. He analyzed the evolution of Chinese interior design from traditional style to modern style and from localization to internationalization with rich cases and profound insights. He also acknowledged the contributions of designers and material enterprises present during the development of interior design.

Ms. Lillian WU, Color Director of Dunn-Edwards Paints, made a presentation on 2025 popular color trends.

Additionally, Ms. SONG Wenwen from the Colour & Imaging Institute, Art & Science Research Center, Tsinghua University spoke on Valuable Space, discussing the aesthetic, functional, emotional, commercial, cultural, and social values of interior design from the perspective of color and materials.
