Introduction
The Food Design Studio of Tsinghua (Qingdao) Academy of Arts and Science Innovation Research (TASA) is an innovative project practice base of +86 Food Design Alliance and TASA. The +86 Food Design Alliance was born in 2019, initiated by Mr. CHI Wei, a renowned designer with a background of three generations of Beijing traditional food families since the Qing Dynasty. The Studio promotes food design culture under the guidance of innovative food design research. It is committed to bringing together food design academic research experts, interdisciplinary designers, scientific and technological talents, farmers, chefs, food production enterprises, and catering managers for dialogues and cooperation. In addition to bringing together Chinese food brand partners and cross-disciplinary innovative design experts, the Studio will establish cooperation with several food design associations, organizations and colleges from around the world.
Our vision is to promote the development of food design in the world, bring together food design resources and professionals who are interested in food design, promote food design culture, and transform society through food design innovation, inspire human minds and enhance human well-being.
