Symposium on Research and Development of Future Services of Caring for the Next Generations Held at AADTHU
In the afternoon of November 20, 2024, the Education Center of China Working Committee of Care for the Next Generations, in collaboration with the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University (AADTHU), held the Symposium on Research and Development of Future Services of Caring for the Next Generations at AADTHU. The memorandum of cooperation previously concluded between the Education Center of China Working Committee of Care for the Next Generations (CWCCNG) and the Tsinghua (Qingdao) Academy of Arts and Science Innovation Research (TASA) signifies that the two parties will join hands to implement the work plan of the Education Center of CWCCNG for the year 2024-2025. This symposium was held to enhance the two parties' communication on future work and enable higher efficiency and orderly progress of all tasks.

The Symposium was presided over by WANG Guosheng, Associate Professor of the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, and Director of Future Service Design Innovation Experimental Center of TASA. Attendees included: QIN Chuan, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University; WANG Guosheng, Director of Future Service Design Innovation Experimental Center of TASA; WANG Liuyang, Senior Supervisor of Scientific Research Office of TASA; LI Weiping, Deputy Director of the Education Center of CWCCNG; XU Jingling, Director of the Office of the Youth Sports Science Popularization and Education Development Program, the Education Center of CWCCNG; LU Shijian, an expert involved in the Research and Development Project of Future Services for Caring for the Next Generations; ZHANG Cheng, an expert involved in the Research and Development Project of Future Services for Caring for the Next Generations; ZUO Si, a producer of Science and Education Channel of CCTV; ZHANG Hanqing, Editor-in-Chief of Economic Information Daily of Xinhua News Agency; and JIANG Shunfeng, Chairman of Dongguan Haoyou Chuangyi Cultural Communication Co., Ltd.
At the Symposium, QIN Chuan introduced the development history and educational mission of AADTHU, and shared its efforts in supporting aesthetic education for primary and secondary schools as well as the general public. Based on AADTHU's expertise in industrial and service design, WANG Guosheng specified the implementation details and suggestions for the transformation from industrial services to cultural services in caring for the next generations. WANG Liuyang briefed the platform positioning and resource advantages of TASA. From the viewpoint of China Working Committee of Care for the Next Generations, LI Weiping outlined its idea of empowering the comprehensive development of culture, science, technology, and arts for Chinese youth. XU Jingling shared the application of AI technology in youth sports science popularization education and how to advance the educational experience through the building of a smart campus. Experts LU Shijian and ZHANG Cheng respectively discussed the current issues in education from the perspectives of social practice and labor practice, and put forward visions for future service to boost cultural development.
ZUO Si and ZHANG Hanqing affirmed the great significance of the Symposium from the media's point of view, highlighting the importance of leveraging media resources to promote innovation in education services. JIANG Shunfeng shared the practical experience of supporting educational innovation through corporate resources from a corporate standpoint.
Attendees agreed that the integration of service innovation and technology allows higher quality education for the next generations, thus cultivating them into the future pillars of society. Additionally, multiple consensuses were reached at the Symposium, including strengthening cooperation between schools and society and utilizing science and technology to improve education quality.
After the Symposium, attendees expressed their intention to formulate concrete work plans based on the discussion and implement them through the Future Service Design Innovation Experimental Center of TASA. The successful conclusion of this Symposium also marks a solid step forward in the collaboration between the China Working Committee of Care for the Next Generations and higher education institutions in the field of educational innovation.
