1. Horizontal project of food design

This project attaches great importance to industry-university-research cooperation and gives full play to the Studio's advantages. By utilizing the Studio's resources and practical experience, it vigorously undertakes various horizontal projects based on social needs, and conducts in-depth R&D and design of related food design projects. Furthermore, it continuously explores new directions, methods, and technologies in food design, contributing to the promotion of the field and cross-field development.

2. Events, exhibitions, forums, and conferences

These activities follow the cutting-edge trends in the food design field at home and abroad, bring together innovative resources of academic and practical experts in food design from within and outside the Studio and cross-industry design fields, promote cross-field collaboration and development, enhance the influence and value of food design, and actively build diversified forms of exchange through exhibitions, forums, and conferences.

3. FUTURE FOOD · International Food Design Competition

The FUTURE FOOD · International Food Design Competition is intended to showcase the latest developments and achievements in global food design, facilitate the sharing and exchange of cutting-edge thinking in food design both domestically and internationally, and connect universities with industries to apply valuable research and ideas in the innovative development of the industry. It features recommendations from professors and mentors at 240 design universities nationwide, and plans to involve designers in the creation of joint IPs for millions of teenagers and children in over 100,000 national aesthetic education institutions, aiming to help enterprises enhance their brands, innovation, and exchanges and boost the industry's development.

4. Food design publication Designer 100 — Global Food Design Innovation 100 Program

The program aims to promote a sustainable future, achieve interdisciplinary integration, enhance global influence, and set industry benchmarks. The publication includes the design thinking and innovative works of outstanding food designers and chefs around the world, so as to systematically elaborate on the food design science and explore the ways of food design from various aspects such as product design, material innovation, service strategies, brand packaging, and catering experiences. Its content includes graphic reports, on-site interviews, published books, and award ceremonies of innovative works by 100 selected designers. It creates an authoritative publication, elevates the brand's international influence, fosters industry-university-research cooperation, and promotes the development of the food design field.

5. Food & design journey

The food & design journey is an all-around exploration program specially curated and designed for catering and food pioneers by +86 Food Design Alliance.

This series aims to delve into various countries around the globe, taking cuisine as a medium to display the diverse cultures of each nation from multiple dimensions. It includes on-site visits to different countries to uncover culinary business opportunities and build global bridges. Through enterprise products, national gifts, and resource integration, sponsors may leverage the opportunity to become the focus of the industry. We expect that more innovative managers in the culinary industry, academic educators, designers, and chefs will join us on this food design and cultural exchange journey around the world and foster extensive and profound international collaborations.

6. R&D of food design textbooks and compilation of teaching materials

We connect with international universities and related research institutions that have established the food design discipline, creating an international exchange platform for advanced learners and providing academic support and management for domestic and international universities. At the same time, senior experts and academic elites develop textbooks integrating cutting-edge concepts and cases to cultivate professional talents.
