Sponsored by the Tsinghua (Qingdao) Academy of Arts and Science Innovation Research, Tsinghua University, the exhibition, themed with the "Art and Science International Exhibition and Symposium", a landmark academic event jointly initiated by Nobel Prize winner and renowned physicist Mr. Tsung-Dao LEE and renowned artist Mr. WU Guanzhong in 2001, has been successfully held for six consecutive years and has produced outstanding international academic influence. Deeply influenced by this tradition, and adhering to the core concept of "Integrate Art and Science, Go Forward Towards Art Education", we specially curated the "QING QING XIANG MEI · THE FIRST YOUTH ART & SCIENCE EXHIBITION". The exhibition aims to help young people connect visual arts with the real world, encourage them to think independently, explore new art forms, develop critical thinking, and promote the burst of imagination and creativity.

We hope to provide an opportunity for Chinese young people to exchange high-end creations and learn from each other's works with the exhibition as a platform, striving to guide them to establish cultural self-confidence and paying attention to cultivating their humanistic and artistic feelings and scientific inquiry spirit, so as to promote their all-round development and healthy growth!

Group 1: under the age of 12
"Fantastic Ideas" Concept Group

Childhood is the pinnacle of imagination and creativity. Not bound by any rules or restrictions, the children are free to associate from one cloud to another. Although this leaping attention may seem inattentive, children are actually seeing the world through their unique perspective. They often gain insight into the details of life that adults tend to overlook and inspire creativity and solutions that are difficult for adults to anticipate.

The core objective of the "Fantastic Ideas" section of the exhibition is to encourage children to boldly express their unique ideas and unleash their inner creativity. We are eager to listen to children's boundless creativity while helping them develop divergent thinking and cherishing the innocent creativity of childhood during their thinking and expressing.

Creative Theme
The "Fantastic Ideas" Concept Group embodies the concept of innovation and integration of arts and sciences with the theme of "One Day"
Form of Works

In this process, parents can collaborate with exhibitors during recording. In order to ensure the coherence and clearness of the video, we require parents to provide the video with detailed scripts, narration and subtitles.

Group 2: under the age of 18
"Integrate Arts and Sciences" Works Group

Arts and sciences seem completely different and irrelevant in that one is full of rational logic and judgment, while the other is composed of perceptual inspiration and experience. But in fact, both used to stride forward shoulder to shoulder. Today, the two are meeting again at the top of the mountain of human civilization. Mr. Tsung-Dao LEE, a scientist, once said that arts and sciences are just like two sides of the same coin and that the common foundation of arts and sciences is human creativity. Prof. WU Guanzhong, an artist, emphasized the ideological similarity between arts and science. Science reveals the mystery of the universe, while arts reveals the mystery of emotion.

Therefore, the exhibition section of the "Integrate Arts and Sciences" Works Group aims to present the creative achievements of young people under the mutual infiltration and inspiration of the perceptual thinking of arts and the rational thinking of science. By breaking teenagers' deep-rooted cognition of arts and science, we can plant a seed of thinking from multiple angles in their minds. In life and study, teenagers should dare to find and raise questions, and express them through arts and sciences, which inspires their ability to cross the border and solve problems creatively. This process reflects teenagers' thinking ability and creative ability, and promotes their interest and motivation in learning.

Creative Theme
With the theme of "The Shape of Time", the "Integrate Arts and Sciences" Works Group embodies the integration of arts and science.
Form of Works
There are no restrictions on the forms of works. Forms, such as paintings, images, installations, sculptures, models, animations, creative journals and interactive works, are all allowed.
Requirements for Works
Encourage teenagers to create based on the exploration and innovation of arts and sciences and the interdisciplinary integration.
The creator must select at least one sub-discipline from arts (such as painting, sculpture, photography, calligraphy, literature, music, architecture, movies, etc.) and science (such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, computer, etc.) for cross-integration. In addition, the works should be created around the theme of "The Shape of Time".

Group 3: under the age of 18
"Public Welfare & Intangible Cultural Heritage" Creation Group

In the vast river of human history, arts and sciences have always been the most brilliant creative forces, complementing each other and jointly promoting the progress of human civilization. In order to deepen the innovation and integration of arts and science, we have specially planned the exhibition of "Public Welfare & Intangible Cultural Heritage", focusing on the rich and colorful cultural traditions of the Chinese nation, especially attaching importance to the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.

The exhibition track aims at combining China's profound intangible cultural heritage, taking teenagers' innovative thinking as the engine, and injecting new vitality into traditional intangible cultural heritage by integrating creative ideas of arts and science. This process also aims to stimulate teenagers' curiosity, transform their imagination of intangible culture, and guide the society to protect and care for intangible culture.

In order to achieve this goal, the Organizing Committee will join hands with public welfare organizations to launch a series of exhibition counseling public welfare courses for teenagers in ethnic areas. We hope that through these courses, teenagers can not only receive the thinking training on integration of arts and science, but also feel the profound charm of intangible culture. In addition, through the public welfare section, more teenagers in ethnic areas can enjoy advanced educational resources, expand their thinking and vision, and enhance their understanding of cultural diversity and human creativity. Stimulate the vitality of intangible culture and promote the revitalization of rural education.

Creative Theme
The "Public Welfare & Intangible Cultural Heritage" Creation Group must combine intangible heritage skills with regional culture, and carry out the exploration and innovation of arts and sciences with the theme of "Eternity".
Form of Works
The complete video clip can be edited into pieces or a model formed by any medium, such as manual work, painting, animation, device, creation log, etc.
Requirements for Works
Teenagers are encouraged to create around the theme of "Eternity" from the innovative perspective of arts and science, combined with intangible culture or skills.
